FEP PALL RING 25mm 

FEP Pall ring 25mm is made by Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP),  it  is a copolymer of hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene. 

Compare PTFE Pall ring, FEP pall ring 25mm can be injected.  FEP is softer than PTFE and melts at 260 °C, FEP is highly transparent and resistant to sunlight,

PTFE is white color.

FEP Pall ring 25mm provide good resistance to corrosion as compared to PP Pall ring, or SS304 Pall ring, SS316L Pall ring packings.

FEP Pall ring 25mm has a lighter weight in the packed bed section as compared to the ceramic Pall ring packings

FEP Pall ring 25mm has much lighter pressure drop characteristics than the FEP  Pall ring 50mm. On the other hand, the 25mm FEP Pall ring
achieves higher gas absorption for the same depth  of packing.

FEP is very similar in composition to the fluoropolymers PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and PFA (perfluoroalkoxy polymer resin). FEP and PFA both share PTFE's useful properties of low friction and non-reactivity, but are more easily formable. FEP is softer than PTFE and melts at 260 °C; it is highly transparent and resistant to sunlight.
