PFA PALL RING

PFA Pall ring  is made by Perfluoroalkoxy alkanes (PFA),  In terms of PFA's properties, this polymer is similar to polytetrafluoroethylene ,PTFE.

Compare PTFE Pall ring, PFA pall ring  can be injected.  PFA has somewhat better physical and mechanical properties than FEP above 150C, and

can be used up to 260C.

PFA Pall ring  provide good resistance to corrosion as compared to PP Pall ring, or SS304 Pall ring, SS316L Pall ring packings.

PFA Pall ring  has a lighter weight in the packed bed section as compared to the ceramic Pall ring packings

PFA is very similar in composition to the fluoropolymers PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) . FEP and PFA both share PTFE's useful properties of low friction and non-reactivity, but are more easily formable. FEP is softer than PTFE and melts at 260 °C; it is highly transparent and resistant to sunlight.
